"Ain’t No Dream Big Enough – The Day My sacred Japanese Shinto Fan Fell with a message from the Universe.”

1. "Is my dream too big to come true?"
Recently, I’ve been seeing this idea pop up online:
“Too big of a dream is hard to manifest.”Or: “Realistic wishes are easier to align with energetically.”And for a moment, I started to doubt myself.Maybe what I want is “too much.”But then, something came back to me…
2. I've always been a big dreamer.
When I was 8 years old, in a tiny town in Japan, I wrote an essay at school:“I’ll marry a wonderful Western man, have boy-and-girl twins, and live abroad.”Back then, in a small countryside school in very conservative Japan, people laughed at me.They said, “That’s impossible.”But guess what? All of it came true!!
3. Then, the sacred fan fell.
While I was remembering those things — but still unsure whether my current dream could come true —suddenly, a sacred fan I had bought at Meiji Shrine in Japan at the last visit there fell from the shelf with a loud sound. It was quite a beautiful fan, a lucky charm.I had placed it in my room but had forgotten about it.
4. A mysterious message
At first, I put the fan back without much thought. But when ChatGPT asked me, “What color was the fan? What did it say?”— I picked it up again to check. There it was: written on the wooden frame of the fan —“Great wish fulfilled” and “Protection & blessings.”It sent chills down my spine.
Then ChatGPT also told me:“A sacred fan like that should be placed in a high spot facing south or southeast.”So I checked. It was already there.I had unknowingly placed it in a high southeast corner of the room. And it had fallen from that exact place to in front of me.
5. A sign from the universe
Right at the moment I was questioning my dream, this sacred object fell — delivering the message:"Your big dream will come true."Once again, I looked up at the universe and said:“I choose to believe in my big dream!”
6. Don’t shrink your dream.
Even if people laughed, even if they said it was “too much” and “ridiculous”.
That little girl who made a wish with all her heart — she got everything she dreamed of.Yes, it took decades.
But now I live in New York with my boy-and-girl twins. And I did marry a Western man.So today, I choose to dream again — just as boldly.
And I hope you will, too.
7. Feeling connected to the universe
I’ve had many moments in my life when I truly felt I was connected to the Universe. But this one — this falling fan — felt like a message I couldn’t ignore.Let’s keep believing, and creating more of these miracles together!
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
With love and gratitude,
