Sometimes I think to myself,âIf that event hadnât happened, I wouldnât be who I am today.â
Havenât you ever felt that way too?
Painful experiences, frustrating failures, days that felt like detoursâBut if even one of them had been missing, I wouldnât be where I am now.
Isnât it just like a domino effect?Like in a movie where changing the past changes the future...
Even if something seemed negative at the time, the encounters and realizations that followed often change the course of your life.
And if you can now say,âIâm glad that happened,âfrom that moment on, the flow of your reality starts to shift.
There were times when it felt like the worst thing ever.Iâd think, âWhy is this happening to me?â and regret the choices I made.
But regret does no good,so I decided a while ago to stop doing it.
Why? BecauseâŠIf that event hadnât happened, I wouldnât have arrived here. No matter how painful it was, donât you think it actually was a good thing in the end?
Sure, some lessons came with a hefty price. But the growth I gained from them is undeniably real.
When you stamp âIt was goodâ on all your past events, your mood in this very moment gets lighter.Itâs like everything was preparing you to arrive here.
In therapy, we call this way of reinterpreting the past âNarrative.âThatâs rightâwhat happened stays the same ,but how you assign meaning or interpret it depends entirely on your mindset. And it can be changed anytime.
Thatâs why I choose to interpret my divorce as one of the best things that ever happened in my life.
And honestly, itâs true.If it werenât for that pain and those challenges, thereâs no way Iâd be here now, living this way.
Because of that experience,I discovered how much strength I truly have within me. Itâs only when weâre pushed to the edge that we uncover our true power.Ultimate empowerment, Isnât that so true?
And without that mindset,I wouldnât be able to speak to you today with such pride about what Iâve been through.
When I reflect in that way, my heart feels lighter, and my vibration rises.
Then it starts to feel like good things are about to happen. And when you keep that going, you do start attracting more and more âluckyâ events into your life.
I always believe:
âThis is just right~~!â(Yes, a line from somewhere famous in Japanâbut I love it â€ïž)
And when you can do that, youâll start experiencing even more events in the futurethat make you want to say, âThat was great!â
What we can change is not the âpast eventâ itselfâbut the narrative, meaning and emotion we attach to it.
Just changing that is enough to shift the reality of our future.Isnât that a little mysteriousâbut also incredibly powerful?
And once you can see all your past events as blessings, then your present becomes amazing, and your future starts to shine, too.
And yes, that is possible.
đ±Â If there are emotions from the past that you still canât let go of,letâs rewrite your storyâtogether.
