🌱 Maintaining Positive Energy Under Stress
Previously, I shared a bit about my adopted son. Some of you may be curious about how he has been doing.
He faced significant challenges in Singapore, where the English-speaking environment was tough for him. Despite multiple IQ and physical tests, which confirmed that he did not have a developmental disorder, he was expelled from a private middle school and told that studying in English would be nearly impossible for him.
Many people thought that graduating from high school in New York would be completely out of reach for him.
However, after several subconscious work sessions in Singapore, his performance started to improve dramatically. Eventually, he was accepted into a high school in Brooklyn, New York.
When I visited the school for a parent-teacher meeting, I was told that he was a very interesting and popular student in his class. That was quite a surprise!
Whenever his studies started to slip or his concentration dropped, he would come to me, saying, "I need that work again." He worried that he wouldn't be able to pass his classes if things continued as they were.
Each time we did the work together, he seemed to get back on track.
Yes, just like tuning a piano, it is necessary to adjust and fine-tune one's energy regularly, as daily stress can have a significant impact.
And yes, he did graduate from high school in New York!
After that, he carved out a new path as a jewelry designer and is now a successful professional in New York.
Interestingly, my son, like me, used to be overweight as a child, but now he is very slim. This is because, as the negative energy is cleared and stress decreases, the desire to overeat also diminishes.
Please check the before and after photos attached to this post. You will see the difference!
However, when he started working at an airport in New York, I noticed a sudden drop in his energy. He rarely came out of his room and spent his days off isolated, which was a stark contrast to his energetic high school days.
Sensing something was off, I asked him what was going on. He simply said he was tired, attributing it to the physical demands of his job.
But that wasn't the full story.
One day, I had the chance to catch him in the dining room. I seized the opportunity to ask him how he was really doing. He repeated that he was just tired from the physical work.
But I recalled a technique I had learned to protect one's energy from others. As someone who works with clients, I have experienced firsthand how other people's energy can drain me.
I asked him to stand up so I could check his energy flow. I noticed something off around his hands, where the energy felt heavy and stagnant.
So, I suggested he open his hands and allow the energy to flow freely, instead of keeping them closed and tense.
As soon as he did this, he let out a surprised, "Oh!"
The energy flow immediately improved.
It turned out that his job involved handling a lot of luggage with his hands, which likely meant he was unconsciously absorbing a lot of negative energy from the belongings of countless travelers. This stagnant energy had been building up, leading to his fatigue and isolation.
👐 Energy Flow in the Hands
Our hands are major energy channels and can easily absorb energy from people and objects.
In busy places like airports, the energy from countless people mixes together, and it can cling to those who handle objects that have absorbed this energy.
Luggage, in particular, can carry the emotional residue of its owners, which can weigh heavily on those who handle it.
🛡️ How to Protect Your Energy
Rub your hands together to activate your energy.
Shake your hands to release unwanted energy.
Wash your hands with water to reset your energy.
Use a "cutting" motion to protect your personal energy field.
I learned this technique during a hypnotherapy training course in Singapore, where I was taught that therapists should be especially cautious when working with clients who have a lot of negative energy.
And the effect was immediate — my son, who had been isolating himself in his room, suddenly left the house that same day, full of energy and ready to get back into the world.
What a transformation!
Next time, I will talk about why energy is so important and how even small changes can impact our physical well-being.
