Intuition Awakening – My Journey 1

My intuition started to strengthen around 2011, when I discovered hypnosis and began to clear my inner self.
Before that, my life was full of anxiety, negative thoughts, and stress. Because of this, I was always overweight as a child, and at my heaviest, I was about 20kg (44lbs) more than I am now.
🤩 I’ve included some before and after photos in this post.
I discovered hypnosis while I was living in a 28th-floor penthouse in Singapore.
At that time, I had just adopted my late sister’s teenage children, and my family had relocated to Singapore to resolve their U.S. visa issues.
My own twins were only 18 months old, so moving from New York to the other side of the world was a massive challenge.
While the penthouse was beautiful, it came with its own challenges. It was not only on a high floor, but the windows were wide open, and there was a garbage chute right outside the entrance, which led all the way down to the basement.
I was already in a fragile mental state, and caring for toddlers made my anxiety unbearable. Yes, I was also afraid of heights.
Living in such an environment was nearly impossible for me, so I decided to try hypnosis. I needed faster results than conventional therapy could offer, as my sleeplessness was becoming a serious issue.
I sought help from a well-known hypnotherapist in Singapore, who happened to be the same age as me.
At that time, I had already completed training as a psychotherapist and held a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, so I had a good understanding of therapy.
However, the experience I had during my first hypnosis session was unlike anything I had ever encountered.
I thought, "Is something like this even possible in this world?" It was that shocking.
Even after just one session, I felt significantly lighter – something I had never experienced with traditional therapy.
I decided to not only tackle my current anxieties but to completely transform my mind, which had been filled with years of negative emotions.
I started visiting her every week.
As a result, I, who hadn’t exercised for years, suddenly found myself going to the gym every day, and my mood kept improving.
However, life was still challenging...
My adopted children were struggling to adapt to an English-speaking environment and were still dealing with the trauma of losing their mother.
In particular, my adopted son was expelled from his private middle school.
The school’s assessment was that he was completely disconnected, not just from his studies, but from his surroundings as well.
They even suggested that he might have a developmental disorder, as he often didn’t respond when spoken to, and some even questioned if he could hear at all.
So, I took him for intelligence tests, hearing tests, and medical check-ups to prove that he was healthy.
The results were clear – everything was normal. His overall intelligence was average, but his analytical skills were exceptionally high.
They even told me that if this gap continued to widen, he might eventually be diagnosed as autistic.
It’s true that my son had always shown exceptional talent in chess from a young age and had a unique way of thinking and communicating.
However, these traits didn’t require any treatment.
This made me realize that everything he was struggling with was psychological – stress, trauma, and emotional pain.
To be continued…
