The Synchronicity of the Number 26

As I mentioned before, the story of how I gave away 26 cents and then received exactly 26 cents from the universe within just about 30 seconds is quite astonishing. If you haven't read my previous post, I highly recommend checking it out.

That same night, I was proudly sharing this story with my twins at dinner. 😊

By the way, perhaps the biggest manifestation of my life is my twins themselves, as well as the fact that I now live in New York City, had married a Western man, and built a life here.

When I was about 8 years old, living in a small rural town in Japan, I wrote an essay titled "My Future" in my elementary school class. In that essay, I boldly declared, "I will marry a Western man, have boy-girl twins, and live abroad."

Everyone in my class burst into laughter. I wasn't joking at all, though. I was completely serious, but it seemed ridiculous to them at the time.

However, every single part of that vision came true — including the boy-girl twins. 😊 

Now, back to the 26 cents.

As I proudly told my twins about this latest 26 cents synchronicity, I started to wonder, "Why 26 cents again?"

And then it hit me. My vision board... the one I created in July 2023 (over a year and a half ago by this March).

For those who might not know, a vision board is a collection of images, words, and affirmations representing your goals and dreams. Many people nowadays even make digital versions as phone wallpapers to keep themselves motivated.

And yes, I had been using one as my phone wallpaper all this time.

In that vision board, I had created an image of my bank account balance, showing $26,000,000.00. 

Why did I choose 26 million dollars? Honestly, it just popped into my mind. I don't have a special attachment to the number 26.

Actually, my favorite number is 13, which many people consider unlucky in the West. Interestingly, my twins' birthday is also on the 13th. Coincidence?

And if you think about it, 26 is exactly twice 13. Is it because of the twins so it’s double? I don't know.

Anyway, during that dinner conversation, I pulled out my phone and checked my wallpaper.

Sure enough, there it was — "$26,000,000" boldly displayed as part of my vision board.

At the time of the 26-cent incident, I didn't think much about the significance of the number 26.

But as I shared the story over dinner, it suddenly hit me — "Wait a minute...!" — and I showed my phone to my twins, and the conversation immediately heated up.

It was a bit of a shock.

I firmly believe that there are no coincidences in this world. Of course, this was no coincidence either.

26 cents, 26 million dollars — the number "26" appearing repeatedly.

The universe doesn't have a sense of "scale" when it comes to numbers. 26 cents and 26 million are essentially the same from its perspective.

I choose to believe this is a sign from the universe, telling me, "Your script has already changed."

Maybe this is the power of Tufti at work once again.
